FALL / WINTER 2022

JED is an eclectic women’s luxury lifestyle brand. As a designer at JED I led design across all categories including sweaters, cut & sew knits, woven shirting, woven bottoms, printed blouses, knitted accessories, jewelry, and home products, starting from initial concept through to final bulk garment fits. I managed all raw materials, trims, color palettes, stripes, graphics, embellishment design, and research and I directly managed our international vendors to develop prototypes and produce showroom samples. I also coordinated with our cross-functional team members to complete tech packs, including illustrator sketches, trim sheets, design construction and detail pages, and artwork layout pages.

For FALL / WINTER 2020 JED’s design inspiration grew from the artist’s process. We analyzed different painting techniques and the art of diffusion, exploring the moments when colors meet. We reinterpreted and translated these moments into sweaters, woven shirts, trousers, and cut & sew knits by playing with stripes, intarsias, jacquards, and color blocking techniques. We integrated various raw materials, including ribbons, grosgrain, and print, to bring our interpretations into reality.
