GRAPHIC & EMBELLISHED TEES
As a designer for Talbots I created and led the company’s graphic and embellished tee program. Under my leadership, this category of tee became one of the most profitable categories of cut and sew knits at Talbots.
Each season I researched new embellishment and print trends to find exciting ways to showcase the key messages of the season. I worked directly with our overseas factories to develop new application techniques that were both brand and seasonally appropriate. I created all graphic and novelty artwork and built an extensive embellishment and graphics library that was used across all product categories throughout the entire company. I also oversaw all research, design, artwork, and fabric and trim selection for these products as well as managed tech pack creation and fittings.
